Automatic Pressure Control System
King Saud University Pumping Station—Riyadh—Saudi Arabia

The aim of this project, was to get a complete control system for the university pumping station, with the following specifications:
Automatic sequence control for the pumps, with automatic skip function in case of pump fault or pump disable.

  1. Automatic pressure control, by using frequency inverters and pressure transducer, in order to get a constant pressure at the output of the pumps, regardless of water consumption.
  2. Full protection function for pumps, motors and pipe lines.
  3. Read out all important parameters: Motors current, Actual Pressure, Preset pressure, Over-pressure alarm, Over-flow alarm, VSD alarms.
